These are four of my book covers that are done in a more classic Gothic look but still have that modern flair to them.

While studying at John Brown University for my B.S. in Graphic Design I was given the assignment to take a set of classic literature and to create a new set of book covers. Once I began the assignment I found the creative process took me from a graphic cover that was full of detail to a an elegant cover that retold the story in the simplest terms.

I chose four Gothic novels:

• Marry Shelly’s Frankenstein
• Jules Verne’s 20,000 Leagues Under The Sea
• Oscar Wilde’s The Picture of Dorian Gray
• Bram Stoker’s Dracula
